This workshop incorporates two practices, where the focus is on restoration and renewal.
In the morning, Adelene will share her knowledge and experience of Restorative Yoga: the art of relaxation, informed by western science and experienced and tested by practitioners of all ages. To deepen your understanding of ‘active rest’, Adelene will offer an experiential practice sequence. From there, you will transition into an iRest Yoga Nidra practice led by James.
James will lead the afternoon session, showcasing iRest Yoga Nidra, a transformative practice of deep relaxation and meditative inquiry that releases negative emotions and thought patterns. Calms the nervous system and develops a deep capacity to meet and be at ease with life’s many challenges. Adelene and James will seamlessly integrate another Restorative Yoga session and iRest Yoga Nidra practice together in this afternoon session.
This will be a deeply nourishing and profound experience, so be prepared to leave feeling better friends with yourself; refreshed, relaxed and at ease.
